We’re creating a 3 by 5 metre tableau in Delfts Blauwe tegels that will show a picture of the very first meeting between Maori  and Europeans – Abel Tasman’s men and local Maori in 1642, in Murderers Bay (Golden Bay). This will be an iconic tableau, depicting a crucial moment in our country’s history.

You can sponsor us as an individual, as a family, or as a company. Your contribution will be honoured in the reception hall of our building complex forever after. One of New Zealand’s best known ceramic artists, Anneke Borren, is creating the tableau for us.  She was trained in the factory De Porceleyne Fles, in Delft.
